The Malarkey Highlander is an architectural shingle built around Malarkey’s patented NEX® polymer-modified asphalt — the same rubberized technology that makes their shingles unusually flexible and impact-tolerant.

For Texas homeowners, that translates to a Class 3 impact rating that holds up well against the hailstorms that roll through Central Texas every spring. It’s also a solid value: closer to the cost of a standard architectural shingle than a Class 4, but with most of the durability benefit.

The Highlander uses Scotchgard™ algae resistance, has a 110 mph wind warranty, and a Limited Lifetime warranty when installed by a Malarkey Certified contractor — which we are.
